Great Falls Rest Day

0 miles

Today was our second rest day of the tour. I slept in to a whopping 7 :00 a.m. We had breakfast at the Ursuline Center at 8 a.m. I tried to blog and noticed that my computer had a bug in it that caused it to malfunction. I called a local repair person and his wife, Jackie came by and picked up the computer. They worked on it for a few hours and drove it back at 8 30 p.m.

During the day I went shopping and took a tour of the Ursuline Center with a resident named George showing us around. Some of the other riders went to the Lewis and Clark museum and toured downtown Great Falls.

At our nightly meeting Nancy and Ken told us that we will be heading into more desolate land and will not see trees naturally growing for weeks. The next time we may see trees is in the Black Hills. Since we will be traveling in treeless land, Nancy said that a lot of riders will be "tested" as they ride for miles and miles in just prairie lands.

  1. Chuck,
Do you remember us riding into Great Fall together looking for a coffee. Later we walked to a strip mall and found good java.
